Youth Classes

Lauren Kruz with Rock the Love Camp

Itty Bitty Bodhis Day Camp Ages 3-4

Yoga comes to life with this animated and fun age group! The Itty Bitty Bodhis will explore the great outdoors while breathing like bunnies, singing songs, and chasing butterflies around the farm. Yoga poses are weaved into adventurous stories about animals and nature so we can learn about how our bodies work while having lots of fun! We’ll draw, paint and color and even take a magic carpet ride at the end of every class.

Hip Hanumans Day Camp Ages 5-6

The lively and imaginative Hip Hanumans will participate in magical yoga adventures to far and distant lands. We’ll blend and balance all of this excitement with mindfulness exercises, development of gross motor skills, and cooperative games. Following yoga, we will set off on a scavenger hunt into nature as we sing songs about all of the lovely things we see! In addition to yoga and exploring nature we’ll also be participating in slacklining, various art projects, drumming and other activities around the festival!

Groovy Ganeshas Day Camp Ages 7-9

The Groovy Ganeshas will explore yoga as superhero yogi warriors. We’ll create stories and adventures together with active yoga sequences and learn to become removers of our own obstacles through nature. This groovy age group will learn body awareness, balancing poses, breathing and mindfulness exercises and will also participate in slacklining, learn basic drumming techniques, make collages and other creative projects to express our creativity.

Funky Buddhas Day Camp Ages 9-12

We will honor and nurture the maturing independent spirit of this age group through yoga, art and music using folklore and mythological storytelling with alive and flowing yoga sequences. Mindful relaxation techniques will be explored while creating a safe space for sharing the exciting and challenging experiences found in this budding time of life. We’ll move from the heart to cultivate authenticity, self-love, courage, and inner strength.

The Funky Buddhas will participate in jewelry and mandala making, a dreamy drum circle, slacklining, nature exploration, drawing and journaling.
